Intramuros Experience with my Family

Second day of year 2014. I'd been thinking of having a picnic at Q.C. Memorial Circle with just the three of us(Hubby,Johann & I). But then, we're just too lazy to get out of our bedroom. Hubby was enjoying his holiday vacation. While me, as they say,"Day Off ni Inday".😊

Late in the afternoon,we both agreed to go to SM Manila and tour our Little Johann to Children's Playround along U.N. Avenue.

   We just had our afternoon snacks at Pizza Hut,SM Manila. It took us awhile before we got our seats though there were just few customers around. The receptionist was so busy taking take-out orders, while us standing there for about 15 minutes.Yay! But it was fine. Hubby and I were both satisfied with our foods.

   Past 4 o'clock, we decided to go to the playground. Instead of riding a jeepney, We just walked and took the underground pass. We went in Intramuros first trying to figure it out how we could go to U.N. Avenue. We had enjoyed the scenery, the walls, golf course, canyons, Spanish-style of different infrastractures, callesa, etc. 

   Without noticing it, we got on our way to Luneta Park. So many people around, most of them were by groups, family or barkadas. When we got to Children's Playground, the lane was so long. We were both tired and Johann was sleepy already. I asked Hubby if we could go to Dakasi to refresh ourselves. We just walked along Maria Orosa St. We passed by NBI Clearance Office. Just a few minutes walk from U.N. LRT station.

   

We decided to ride pedicab, I asked the driver how much would it cost if we get off at lrt station, he said 40pesos. I replied him that it was just a minute walk could it be 20,then he agreed. After we got off from the pedicab, I gave 20pesos. Then we walked away. The driver said,"Ate kulang pa." I told him that it was 20 pesos. He said it's 20pesos per head and there were three  of us and he would just charge us for two persons only. I told him that what if I didn't haggle from the price of 40,then he would charge us 80pesos?! Then he said alot of things, hubby told me to give what he wants. It was so irritating! So next time, I'd rather walk than to ride pedicab nor taxi. So beware guys!

   All in all, my experience was great, bonding time with my family, though we haven't got the chance to go to the playground.
